5 Ways to Make Life "Funner"

Clichéd though it may sound, it IS really the small things that make life "funner".  Here are a few things that can help improve the quality of your life – 


Get Wet
Water is amazing! Never EVER miss a chance to be near/in water (unless great white sharks are swimming around). H2O can be your personal therapist and masseur. It can even get you contemplating the origins of our universe. Get drenched when you go to theme parks. Walk in the rain once in a while. Go to a beach and let the waves kiss your feet. Have a luxuriating bath. As long you are not drowning, water really is your best friend.


Get Addicted
NEVER TO DRUGS/CIGARETTES!!! Addictions can provide immense satisfaction. Just make sure to pick one that is not harmful to you in the long run. Ever started to read a book and realized you can't put it down without finishing it? That dear friends, is addiction. There are a zillion addictions to pick from once you start looking. Become a movie buff, or become an amateur chef and put up a food blog. Become a tech geek. Learn a hobby/trade inside out. Become a professional whistler. Become the world's best at one little thing. Anything!


Get Playing
Sport is wonderful. Federer, Rooney, Bolt, Phelps, Isinbayeva and Tendulkar will all attest to the fact. Sport is not just the games that get telecast on the screen. Gully Cricket is also sport, as is Street Football, and as are Carrom, Ludo and Chess. Play "Name, Place, Animal, Things". Play at least one little game. Make an effort to find your own set of cronies with whom you can enjoy the game on a regular basis. Sport can be a perfect stress buster.


Get Musical
Mankind without music is like current physics theories without the Higgs Boson particle. Hum through the day. Recognize the rhythm in the way the wind blows. Find music in the traffic noises. Sing in the shower. Sing badly if you must, but sing all the same. Sing with others. Sing along while your favorite song plays. Close your eyes and sing. And get transported to a parallel universe.


Get Sleeping
Sleepless people are for the most part cranky, moody and not quite their usual self. You don't want to be that person do you? Do yourself and everyone else a favor, and get some sleep. Nighty night! Don't let the bed bugs bite!


This post does look a bit patronizing/preachy doesn't it? Sorry about that. It was not initially meant for the blog. But it ended up without a place to stay, and I did promise the words that they'd get a few eyeballs. Please to forgive and forget J
