Uyyo!!! Whatte loooong break ;)
"Sorry what did you say? Oh, my hibernation? Yeah, it was great :) "
It's not like i was busy. Just that i was not able to come up with anything interesting, at least not for general public viewing ;)
First let me try to be of some use here.
Some books that i really liked and would suggest for a good read :
The Time Traveler's Wife - Audrey Niffenegger
Tuesdays with Morris - Mitch Albom
Some songs that i fell in love with which you might like :
$ Ek meetha marz dene -> movie - Welcome to Sajjanpur (Hindi)
$ Bheeni bheeni mehki mehki -> movie - Welcome to Sajjanpur (Hindi)
$ DĂșlaman -> Celtic Woman - A New Journey (Irish)
$ Mar jawan -> movie - Fashion (Hindi)
$ Picchai paathiram -> movie - Naan kadavul (Tamil)
$ O my friend -> movie - Happy Days (Telugu)
$ I love you more today than yesterday -> Spiral staircase (English)
$ Kaise mujhe -> movie - Ghajini (Hindi)
Oh My God!!!! Shreya Ghoshal WHAT A VOICE!!!
Somewhere along the course of these past few months, i learnt what it's like working together as a big team. Trust me, it's not that simple. Lot of politics, likes, dislikes, humongous egos, thick skinned buffaloes, dainty darlings, unhelpful criticism, controversies and a whole lot else! That's the negative part. The thing's got a lot of positives as well : new friends, learning a few tricks, fun meetings and generally just getting a taste of everything. It gave me a whole new perspective on how to view people around me. Appearance is not believing, experience is. In my mind, some people grew in stature and a few diminished. I learnt whom to trust. It all started out lazily, panic set in, things started heating up, and finally it blew up into a frenzy. It helped that the event was declared a super hit :) A lot of heads would have rolled otherwise.....but there was no need for that ;) people are far more accommodating when a venture is successful.
It's a great thing to be able to look back on everything and laugh at all the silly, petty stuff that sparked so many fights. Sometimes it was hellish, but in hindsight, i guess it was a lot of fun :) Quite an experience :)
On a totally unrelated track, i tried my hand at writing poetry. Not a class act, but it gave me some satisfaction. I might post one to get some scholarly opinions :)
